Stardew Valley Perfection Guide

Money Making

Perfection is the ultimate end-game goal in Stardew Valley, representing 100% completion of virtually everything the game has to offer. This comprehensive guide will walk you through every requirement, strategy, and reward associated with achieving Perfection.

What is Perfection?

Perfection is a completion metric introduced in Stardew Valley version 1.5 that tracks your progress across all major aspects of the game. It is measured as a percentage, with 100% representing complete mastery of Stardew Valley.

Grandpaโ€™s Evaluation

The concept of evaluation began with Grandpaโ€™s ghost, who returns to evaluate your progress at the beginning of Year 3 (and can be re-evaluated anytime after by placing a Diamond on his shrine). While Grandpaโ€™s evaluation awards candles (1-4), Perfection is a separate, more comprehensive system.

Qiโ€™s Walnut Room

After unlocking Ginger Island and entering Qiโ€™s Walnut Room (requires 100 Golden Walnuts), youโ€™ll gain access to the Perfection Tracker on the right side of the room. This display shows your current completion percentage and breaks down each category.
