Artisan Goods Guide
Artisan goods are processed items created from raw crops, animal products, and other materials using specialized equipment. They are typically much more profitable than selling raw ingredients, making artisan processing one of the most important gold-making strategies in Stardew Valley. Keg
The Keg is one of the most profitable artisan machines in the game. It processes fruits into wine, vegetables into juice, and honey into mead. The crafting recipe is unlocked at Farming Level 8.
Wine Production
Wine is made from any fruit and takes approximately 12 days to process in a keg. The sell price of wine is calculated as 3x the base sell price of the input fruit.

Juice Production
Vegetables can be processed into juice, which is worth 2.25x the base value of the input vegetable. Juice is generally less profitable than wine, but it provides an option for vegetables that cannot be made into wine.

Mead Production

The Preserves Jar turns fruits into jelly and vegetables into pickles. The value is calculated as 2x the base value of the input plus 50g. The crafting recipe is unlocked at Farming Level 4.

Aging System: Casks
Casks are special artisan equipment that can age certain products to increase their quality and sell price. Casks can only be placed inside the farmhouse cellar (unlocked after upgrading the house to the third level) or inside a Shed.
Cask Crafting
Casks are crafted from 20 Wood and 1 Keg. They are unlocked at Farming Level 14 (via the Mastery system, which requires all 5 skills at Level 10).

- Get the Artisan profession at Farming Level 10 (Tiller branch). The 40% bonus to all artisan goods is the single most impactful money multiplier in the game.
